I’ve lived nearby for years but never stopped in until tonight, and I’m so glad I finally did. I wouldn’t call myself an Italian food expert, but I’ve had my fair share, and this place really stands out. The service was prompt and just right for the atmosphere—quiet, clean, and very welcoming. Ben was our server, and he absolutely nailed it. He made thoughtful suggestions to enhance our meal without feeling like he was trying to upsell us, which I really appreciated. He was respectful, accommodating, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better evening, and I’m already planning my next visit. I’ll also be picking up some gift cards so my friends can experience this hidden gem for themselves.
This was our first visit to Serritella's. I have lived in the area for some time, driven by but never visited. We went for Sunday dinner.it got busy rather quickly. Hands down the BEST fresh breadsticks! Serritella's Garlic Chips was perfect amount of garlic and cheese. Enjoyed the Lasagna, layers of meat, and cheeses. Chicken piccata was light in flavor (lemon butter sauce) and good serving size (but didnt finish), I asked for easy capers. The icing on the pie was caramel banana cream pie slice. I am a banana cream pie enthusiast and this pie would bring me back. The waitress let us know it is made in house and often sells out. I believe it. She hesitated to offer it and had to double check if they still had a slice. Thank goodness. We will be back.
I'm not certain, but the layout kind of looks like a food court. My cousin referred me to this place and smelt amazing just walking in the doors. Not too crazy, but a little on the pricy side. But, the food was good! There is both inside & outside dining. Nice Italian restaurant in Carmichael they aslo had a sushi joint right next to it. Just like a food court. This place was busy, but the waitress tended to us with no problem.
Just had Serritellas for 48 people at our home The food was delicious and all our guests enjoyed the lasagna and penne pasta and pizza and garlic bread etc - Sherrie handled our order and it was ready for pickup and was fresh and nice and hot! We also love eating here but this was a first getting food for 48 to go!
This was my first visit here. I was taken here for my Birthday since I was craving good Italian food, which in my opinion is kind of hard to find here. First impression was good, the restaurant was spotless clean. The staff was very helpful, courteous, friendly, and on top of their game. They went out of their way to make sure this was a pleasant and memorable experience. The food was absolutely divine. The portions were a good size for most for me it could have been a bit bigger but it was worth it. I wasn't disappointed at all. Great Food!!!

The pasta had a firm texture, the sauce tasted balanced, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The staff checked in politely but never rushed us. It felt like the kind of neighborhood restaurant where people return regularly because everything is consistently done well.
My husband and I met friends here tonight at 5:00 for a tasty dinner. Our server Collin was friendly and accommodating. I recalled an entree that I had ordered a few times in the past but didn't see it listed on the menu. I asked Tyler who was bringing our table water, if he could recall the name of the dish from the description of ingredients. He very kindly found out the name of the dish and returned to tell me. When our waiter returned, I asked him if it was possible to see if the chefs wouldn't mind making it. The chefs said yes and the dish was excellent! The portions are large and I am happy to take a to go box home. I never feel rushed here. which is an added bonus. We all decided to sit outside a bit longer and continue to chat. Maybe 15 minutes later, I realized I left my jacket inside. Starting to walk back to retrieve it, there was Tyler already walking outside to return it to me. He showed wonderful consideration our entire meal, whether it was keeping our water glasses filled or making sure we were enjoying our meal. Tyler is an great asset to the restaurant!
We had a wonderful experience at Serritella’s on Fair Oaks Boulevard on Christmas Eve. Sharing a delicious meal with friends in such a warm and inviting atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. Everything was very reasonably priced, and the service was truly outstanding from start to finish. It was the perfect place to celebrate the holiday, and we look forward to returning again soon.
I drove in from Carmichael after a long day and honestly just wanted a quiet dinner. What I found instead was one of those Italian restaurants that reminds you why simple food works when it’s done properly. The pasta had the right texture, the sauce tasted balanced rather than overly heavy, and the staff treated everyone with calm professionalism. Nothing felt rushed. It’s the kind of place where you finish your meal slowly and realize you stayed longer than planned.
Delicious Italian food in an open concept kitchen/dining room. Service was good, food was amazing. Everything we tried we enjoyed. Calamari fried nicely with tasty aioli dip. Also had a shrimp app which we enjoyed and some garlic bread. The entrées are definitely big enough for 2 people to to share or to have some to take home for lunch the next day...the whole group really loved the dinner and the staff was quite attentive and even took pictures of our group. I dont mind the open concept but it did make for a little less ambiance and I noticed it was a bit chilly. Its a large room with the bar in the middle of it .
